Black Bell, 2002

The drawings ("Black Bell" and "Angel I") have emerged along with the development of the plastic forms. They are "real size" in connection to the sculptural works "Small Angel" and "Bell I + II" and become very physical. The medium is applied as a thick substance that I literally have to carve out: graphite with an eraser, oil pastel with a pencil. They explore within a different medium the shapes that I am working with and try to reduce to a precision where they become one with the idea.
